President’s Message

In a constantly evolving global economy, the ability to create solid and direct connections between territories is the true differentiator for business success. Italy has always built its commercial strength on internationalization, and it is within this framework that the Italo-Turkish Business Association (AIIT) operates.

Our vision aims to transform the historic cultural proximity between Italy and Türkiye into an industrial partnership of excellence. We operate by responding to the objectives of our respective governments, which call for a doubling of trade exchanges in the near future.

Thanks to the official mandate we have received as representatives of TÜRKONFED and TÜRKONFED INTERNATIONAL in Italy, we offer Italian companies privileged access to a network of over 100,000 businesses in Türkiye and more than 90 Turkish Chambers of Commerce worldwide.
Simultaneously, we provide Turkish companies with a robust internationalization system, integrating our services with top-tier operational and financial instruments such as ICE, Confindustria, Confapi, Unioncamere, SACE, Invitalia, Simest, and Mediocredito.

Among our priorities, in agreement with the Turkish Embassy in Italy—whom I wish to thank, specifically Her Excellency the Ambassador, for the warm welcome and support shown since our first meeting—is the organization of “Country Presentations” aimed at Italian Regions and the primary national institutions responsible for internationalization.

Our methodology is project-based, supported by a Board of Directors and high-profile external collaborators deeply aligned with our mission. The “Region to Region” project, to which we have dedicated our primary focus, is the synthesis of this commitment: bridging the gap between Italian regional excellence and dynamic Turkish production districts, well-represented by the 26 Confederations and 130 Associations of TÜRKONFED.

This challenge was also born from the impulse of qualified Turkish entrepreneurs who, knowing my past experience leading internationalization associations, saw in this project the missing piece for truly effective bilateral cooperation. In this regard, I wish to extend an official thank you to those who chose me to lead such a qualified and significant endeavor, honoring me with their trust and the responsibility of representing an organization of such prestige as TÜRKONFED and TÜRKONFED International.
